Piper Ellis, MSc, LCSW
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Piper Ellis demonstrates both competence and empathy in providing support to people facing different life challenges. Piper’s extensive work experience spans multiple adult populations, including patients in mental health facilities, discharged inmates, veteran service members, and immigrant patients. Piper is an expert in managing clients experiencing depression, anxiety disorder, trauma, low self-esteem, career issues, difficulties in anger management, grief, sexual abuse, domestic violence and substance use disorder.
Piper graduated from Louisiana Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, after which she completed her master’s degree program at Louisiana State University. Her treatment philosophy is based on a client-focused approach. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of each client, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with mindfulness, psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theory, empowerment techniques, and motivational interviewing.
Piper fosters a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients can freely express their challenges and work toward personal growth. She assists them in setting meaningful goals and guides them toward healing.
