Dr. Ashley Ibbotson (PhD) holds the position of Licensed Psychologist at Mid Cities Psychiatry, delivering extensive mental healthcare throughout Texas. Dr. Ibbotson provides psychological assessments along with neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations and offers therapeutic services not only to adults but also to adolescents and their families.

Dr. Ibbotson obtained her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Walden University in 2015, after graduating with a Master of Arts in Psychology in 2008 and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Philosophy & Religion from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2003. She completed her mental health clinical training under APPIC-registration at an outpatient setting providing evaluation services to autistic patients alongside individuals facing substance use disorders and other psychological diagnoses.

The scope of her career goes beyond direct patient care, as she now oversees postdoctoral fellows and new psychologists to maintain high standards in mental health delivery. Education is her passion, and she teaches undergraduate psychology courses to guide future professionals as well.

Dr. Ibbotson treats mental health issues using a combination of cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapies. She recognizes how thoughts connect with emotions and family environments and dedicates her practice to guiding patients through evidence-based therapeutic methods that match their specific needs.
