- Treatment-resistant depression TRD: a major depressive disorder (MDD) that has not responded to 2 or more antidepressant
- When suicidal thoughts co-occur with major depressive disorder MDD



How it is given
We administer esketamine in the form of SPRAVATO nasal spray under the close supervision of our professionals. The actual process of administration is brief and it takes around 5 to 10 minutes but your well-being following the administration is our utmost priority. Our team observes you for 2 hours to monitor adverse effects post-medication delivery. It is important to understand that SPRAVATO can induce feelings of drowsiness or sedation in some individuals. You mustn’t drive yourself home after receiving the medication. We strongly recommend arranging for a trusted friend or family member to provide transportation.

Side effects of SPRAVATO Treatment
Though SPRAVATO™ (Esketamine) provides promising relief for treatment-resistant depression, it comes with certain potential side effects. You may encounter variable reactions because the medication impacts the brain’s chemical messengers. More frequent and temporary side effects you tend to experience shortly after administration of the drug are:
- Getting drowsy or sedated
- Nausea or vomiting
- Sudden elevation of your blood pressure
- Headache
- Feeling dissociated from reality
- Extremely fatigued
